We regularly get comments like "Oh no I forgot to journal today!" or "Do I need to start again because I missed a day?" so we decided to answer the question...
What happens if I miss a day on my 26 Day Manifestation Journal Journey?
One of the main reasons the Destiny Drive 26 Day Manifestation Journal is only 26 Days long is so that you can dedicate a month to yourself and not worry if you miss a day here or there when life gets in the way - and trust me it will!
I once did the Whole 30 challenge and the rules state that if you mess up one day you need to start from the beginning again 😲 I get how that might be motivating for some people, but for others that would mean just quitting after day 15 if you had one sip of wine.
Thankfully the Destiny Drive 26 Day Manifestation Journal is not that strict, and you will still see results even if it takes you 98 days to complete!
Have you ever written down a shopping list and then left it at home, but you still managed to remember everything you needed to buy? The manifestation journal works in the same way!
The benefits of using the manifestation journal continue into the day after your pen is down.
Using the journal reprograms your subconscious mind, and shifts your mindset even if you do not notice it at first.
Once you are about a week into your 26 day challenge you will find yourself automatically thinking about how much water you've drank, if you've taken some "me time" and mentally scripting how your day will go.
In March I did a 26 Day Journal Challenge I'm embarrassed to admit that and it was the laziest I've ever been with it 🥺 I missed a bunch of days and a lot of days were incomplete, but what took me by surprise was I still had great results! I made amazing progress towards my goals even though it was a bit of a "messy" month and I was not consistent.
At Destiny Drive, we like to celebrating half-assing things, because it is much better than no-assing things! 😆
So to sum it up, of course you will see faster results if you are more consistent and thorough with your journaling practice, but missing a day (or even a week) will not be a major set back. Don't give up because you think you have failed.
