I am a huge advocate for fresh starts, and while I know that the idea of "diet starts Monday" can be a bit unhelpful at times (and that Monday just keeps getting pushed back!), there is just something so exciting about a fresh start and a clean slate. So here is a list of 3 "manifestation tasks" I think you should do at the start of each month to set yourself up for success:
1. Goal Reflect and Goal Set
Check in with the status how you went on your goal for last month. Did you reach your goal?, did you come close?, or maybe you exceeded your goal? Journal about it and start to consider what you want your next month's goal to be. Keep it visible by writing it on a note and keeping it on your bathroom mirror, or your fridge, or office whiteboard.
2. Financial Check In
If you're not already tracking your finances, make this your month to start - What you track, you attract so tracking your finances is such a good manifestation tool to bring in more money. At the start of each month I update my spreadsheet that tracks my net worth and I love looking back on previous months and feel grateful for how far I have come. Take a moment to reflect on your purchases throughout the past month, and plan out the expenses for the next month.
3. Clear and Reset
In a perfect world you would only need to declutter once and it's done, but in reality it's ongoing work, which is not a bad thing because it's such a good manifestation tool to shake up energy. Each month declutter one space, this could be your pantry, your office, your shed, or even something as small as a junk draw. Clear it out and donate anything that no longer sparks joy (as the wonderful Marie Kondo says!). There is nothing quite like the rewarding feeling of having decluttered a space.
