3 Techniques to Manifest your Dream Home

My second favourite manifestation to date is our current home (number one manifestation is my son of course!) and as it is coming up to the one year anniversary of living here I wanted to share three techniques we used to manifest it.
Clarity
The first technique is to get clear on what you are looking for in your dream home. My husband and I did this by looking around display homes (even though we were pretty confident that we wanted to buy an established home). This process just allowed us to get on the same page with things we liked and disliked and also our non negotiables, for us this was a big backyard, 4 bedrooms and a cinema room.
It's never too early to start this process, for us we knew we weren't planning on buying our dream home for another couple of years but we would often day dream and talk about what our lives would be like in our dream home.
Visualisation
The second technique is basically Law of Attraction 101 - Visualise it! We did this by taking photos of ourselves chilling in the living room of a display home and visualising by really imagining what it would feel like to live there. We would often day dream and talk about what our lives would be like in a new dream home.
We would walk through furniture shops and discuss where different pieces would go in our new home. We also thought about different details like which roads would we drive on to get to work, what would the closest supermarket be, and what would our new favourite local restaurant be.
The real estate agent posted a YouTube video of the house and we would watch that at least twice a day discussing how we would style the different room and the renovations we would make in the future. We also physically inspected the property way more than we needed to considering we knew we wanted it right away.
Release
This is what I would consider to be the hardest manifestation technique, but it is super effective. I hate when people say "when you stop trying, that is when it will happen" to couples trying to conceive a baby, I think it is unhelpful and insensitive but you gotta admit it is actually pretty true in most cases. Everyone has heard of a story of a couple that finally conceived after they took a break from trying. But this is so much easier said than done.
For us we mastered this technique by accident, it was a total fluke. On the way to the auction for our dream home we just happened to pop in to an open house nearby. This house was not going to sell via auction, it ticked all of our boxes, and we were confident they'd accept an offer within our budget. When we arrived at the auction we did not have a feeling of desperation, we would have been happy with any outcome. Needless to say we still jumped for joy when we won the auction (under budget) and felt so lucky as it was the first auction we had ever attended.
Keep these three techniques in mind when you are in the market for your future dream home, and comment below if you have other techniques that you love 🏠💭
